With Saridon, It’s a Go Away for Headache

Bayer Healthcare is one of the leading international companies involved in the research, development, and manufacture of a number of health care products including but not limited to analgesics, dietary supplements, and dermatological products. Saridon is one of the products manufactured and distributed by Bayer Healthcare. It is an analgesic that is especially formulated to diminish the pain of persistent headaches, and it is sold in over 100 countries. Millions of people use this drug to alleviate headache and other body pains. Although designed to specifically target headaches, Saridon can also be taken to reduce fever and assuage other aches and pains, the most common of which are toothaches, menstrual cramps, post-operative pains, and those pains that come with cold or the flu. It is, however, more heavily promoted as a headache reliever.

Headaches have come to be a natural, everyday occurrence for a lot of people. But more often than not, even a simple headache can interfere with one’s task. This is why many prefer a pain medicine that will make the headache go away as quickly as possible. Indeed, through Bayer’s reviews of consumers’ feedback on the type of analgesic that would serve their interests the most, these factors emerged: it has to be effective, it has to last long, and it must take effect as fast as possible. This need for a long-lasting and fast-acting analgesic probably stems from the fact that the widely used medicine, paracetamol, has a longer effect than most medicines, but it also has a slow onset. Bayer has resolved this by putting in propyphenazone as an ingredient alongside caffeine and paracetamol. Propyphenazone augments the paracetamol, so that the combination has created an analgesic that takes effect in as fast as fifteen minutes. The caffeine makes Saridon a no-drowse tablet.

As with all over-the-counter drugs, Saridon may have side effects. The common side effects of the drug are allergic reactions, and some mild circulatory or respiratory-system reactions. Consumers, however, can be confident that there are no reported cases of fatal or near-fatal reactions to the drug. Also, side effects reported by patients have been relatively mild. The recommended dosage for adults is a single dose of one or two tablets, depending on the severity of the pain; for adolescents aged twelve to sixteen, one tablet is sufficient. Pregnant women and women who are breast-feeding are advised not to take the medicine without first obtaining their doctor’s consent.

The Efficacy of Saridon in Treating Headaches, Contraindications, and Side Effects

Saridon is a drug that is designed to quickly and effectively deal with severe headaches. What makes the drug more effective than the others is the unique combination of compounds in the formulation. The drug brings relief to people suffering from severe headaches in a record 15 minutes. Each tablet of the drug contains 50 milligrams of caffeine, 150 mg of propyphenazone, and 250 mg of paracetamol. As a result its three-in-one action makes it able to suppress severe headaches in as fast as 15 minutes, much better than individual drugs such as ibuprofen, aspirin, or paracetamol.

The drug is usually used in treatment of headaches but it is also effective in dealing with toothache, rheumatic pain, menstrual discomfort, and pain and fever caused by colds and flu.
