4 Ways to Eat Healthier (on the Cheap)
Unfortunately, it’s true: Most of the time, eating healthy is more expensive than eating junk. Also, it can be less convenient. However, there are tons of ways that you can eat healthier without breaking the bank or racking up your credit card debt.
1. Switch to water
This tip will actually save you money. Ditch the soda. Ditch the juice, even (all that sugar isn’t great for you if you consume it frequently). Go straight water. Water is much healthier for you, and it will help you to save a lot. And don’t think that you have to go straight for the bottled stuff—instead, drink water out of the tap or invest in a water filter pitcher, which will pay itself off in no time.
2. Buy generic foods
Believe it or not, the nutritional value is the same when you compare a generic type of food with a name brand. Save some cents (which will add up) by going generic when you can.
3. Go with the frozen veggies
Sure, fresh veggies taste a lot better and do have more nutritional value, but if you’re trying to save money and want to get your greens in, don’t be afraid to go with the frozen variety. There are many different tasty types of frozen veggies that you can add to your meals.
4. Skip the organic foods
It’s true—many people prefer the taste of organic foods when compared to non-organic foods. However, in the majority of cases, the nutritional content is the same. And anyone who’s been shopping in the organic aisle at the grocery store can tell you that organic is a whole lot more expensive. So instead of getting the organic fruits because you feel like they’re better for you, just go with the conventional, non-organic variety. We won’t tell anyone.
Those are just four ways that you can help to make your diet healthier without wreaking havoc on your piggy bank. What other tips and advice can you think of to share?

Did you know that fast food could endanger your life ? I recently heard about an event that occurred in 2006, a case in which the protagonist-a boy of 20 years had died of liver cirrhosis , a disease typical of people suffering from alcoholism that he, his young age, had developed by his addiction to junk food.
How sick?, It turns out that since he had acquired independence, was fascinated both by the fast food that I just wanted to eat it morning, noon and night, leaving aside the balanced meals, fruit and vegetables.
The news was published in the British newspaper The Mirror and there explained how Scott Martin had progressively lost their lives for their stubbornness not to give up consumption of this kind of dish.
Personally fries and Broaster chicken are my favorites, but my cravings consumption is reduced to once every two months, and if there have repeated in the month, the sensation of heaviness that gives me is great, to the point that I need to eat salads and plenty of water to recover, that’s not counting the pimples that appear within a few days.
