Feet
It is desirable to wash the feet daily, especially when sweating is important. Otherwise, there may be odor problems or infections. After washing drying are good, especially the interdigital spaces. This foot care is essential to athletes, from the easier to suffer yeast infections that often affect those areas with higher humidity.
The feet may suffer from the use of inappropriate shoes with a heel or too high. The foot is arched which distributes the load evenly between the heel and the front. If used excessively high heels, there is an overload on the forefoot that may become seventy percent of the weight. This overload can produce an increase in the offal of the forefoot that facilitates the deviation of the fingers with the consequent appearance of scratches and areas of “hyperkeratosis (increased stratum corneum or scaly skin). To remove these “Hyperkeratosis” we can resort to using a pumice stone. In the event that persist or are very painful, is necessary to go to the specialist.
The use of inappropriate shoes for children or inherited from older brothers, also may facilitate the development in the future of these problems.
