How to Prevent and Treat a Headache or Migraine?

Headache or MigraineThe headache can make you feel that you have a cow’s head, but like any pain, is the body’s way of saying that something is not right. The headache is a manifestation of a reversible condition of the nervous system caused by a chemical alteration of brain energy. This alteration, in most cases is functional, not organic.

Serotonin is a substance found in the whole head, and is closely related to almost all headaches, and regulates vital functions such as sleep cycles, hunger, mood and pain transmission.

The headache is the body’s response to stress and emotional pressure. A typical headache of tension occurs on both sides of the head and may worsen because of noise or a congested environment. The pain may be beating but is generally feels constant and above the eyes or more generally on the head. Pressure can also be felt behind the eye muscles and neck feels tight.
