What is Fibromyalgia?

What is fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is a disease that affects the person physically generating muscle aches, fatigue or tiredness constantly, attacking localized areas of the body such as neck, shoulders, back, hips, arms and legs. The disease itself has been recently recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO).

What is the treatment?
For the moment, there is no effective treatment to combat the disease. However, it is advisable since the diagnosis of fibromyalgia, you will need to manage the pain of the body through targeted treatments in the hands of a chiropractor or use of oral analgesics or local injections to reduce discomfort, and a psychological treatment if you have mental disorders related to the disease.

What we do need to do if you suffer from the disease, is the constant exercise to prevent muscle atrophy, in addition to weight loss through a balanced diet if the patient is overweight or obese.
